The Position

Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, this opportunity will play a critical role in leading the organization’s consumer strategy in the U.S. This job will be responsible for developing and implementing consumer strategic marketing plans leveraging SENTE’s existing levers and creating new ones to drive reach and engagement with consumers. This role will also have one direct report to develop and work closely with.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead and advise the consumer strategy and tactics on how to win across all relevant channels to achieve business objectives

Manage the consumer brand plan execution with excellence, ensuring on-time delivery of all consumer activation activities

Develop strong consumer loyalty programs, promotions and relationship management initiatives

Execute day-to-day management of social media/influencer strategies, public relations, CRM and marketing automation, digital and web capabilities

Analyze and report consumer ROI program investments to inform future resource allocation

Build cross-functional relationships across the business to ensure cohesive marketing alignment across the different customer segments

Contribute to new, innovative and breakthrough ideas to secure excitement and engagement

Direct and manage consumer budget, relevant agencies, and partners

Support direct report through consistent coaching and development

Skills and Experience Requirements:

7+ years related experience in consumer brand management/marketing/merchandising in a fast-paced working environment (retail and/or beauty)

Demonstrated consumer channel performance in digital, social, CRM along with PR

Ability use analytics to recommend data-driven decisions

Creative self-starter with a must-win attitude, roll-up the sleeves and proactive in leveraging new opportunities and problem-solving quick abilities

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Exceptional organizational and time management skills to drive multiple initiatives

Success in this role hinges on a consistent focus on:

Implementing strategic sales plans to meet business plan targets

Managing staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and deploy sales program

Conducting frequent field contact with Account Managers

Conducting monthly calls with Account Managers to review schedules, sales, and action plan

Instructing Account Managers to analyze sales statistics to assist accounts in building their practice

Representing SENTÉ at trade association meetings to develop network and to promote product

Analyzing and controlling expenditures of region to conform to budgetary targets

People Management:

Directly managing 7 employees (So Cal, No Cal, Sacramento, Seattle)

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements

Bachelors degree required.

Minimum 5-7 years of sales management experience a must

Previous aesthetics sales management experience preferred

Capacity to work in a complex, high entrepreneurial environment
